Meet our Blossom Kid of the Month . . . Lucy!
Lucy is a Blossom Kid who absolutely LOVES cats! Her passion for caring for our feline friends inspired her to start her own cat-sitting business at just 11 years old through which, with the help of her mom, Lucy takes care of other people’s cats on their street when they are away. By helping her neighbors, Lucy’s hard work and commitment to caring for cats enriches her community. In Lucy’s own words, “I think taking care of cats makes the world a better place because animals are getting saved and loved.” Lucy’s dedication to the well-being of cats inspires her to give a portion of her proceeds made from cat-sitting to the ASPCA. On top of her work caring for cats and supporting the ASPCA, Lucy is an advocate for cats and encourages others to “help take care of stray cats by taking them in and bringing them to an organization that can help them find a home.” By sharing her story with us, Lucy inspires us to care for all of our animal friends on this Earth through hard-work, commitment, and compassion. That’s what makes her . . . BLOSSOM!
